Came across a weird blog the other day from visiting a Tax Refund blog that had absolutely jack all to do with Tax Refunds. It’s called AdesBlog.com - and it’s weird because it has a Google Page Rank of 7, yet there are only 133 subscribed feedreaders
From what I can tell,
- He’s a programmer from Kyrgyz Republic (where the hell is that? )

- Quit his job in a Malaysia IT company to work on his online interests, including webhosting, and webdesign
- Now he’s pushing his new product: AdesClrPicker - It’s a Color Picker written in Delphi - yes Borland Delphi. I think he really needs to ditch Delphi and switch to a more respectable programming platform.

AdesClrPicker is a very easy to use, yet powerful color picker application for Web Designers and Web Developers. It allows you to capture colors anywhere on the screen with a single click of the mouse and output it in either HTML, RGB, C++, VB and Delphi color codes. Color Library feature allows you to store your colors, change your colors and convert from one color to another. Color Library is useful if you are working on a project that uses specific colors and you have to refer to the color codes often.
By right clicking on the program icon you can access the last 10 captured colors, last 10 captured colors can be displayed in a floating menu as well, which is draggable for easy positioning. Floating menu is always visible and stays on top of all the other windows. Please see full features page for detailed information.
I get the feeling this guy knows what he is doing. He’s been featured in some proper mags
- PSD Magazine (US) (Issue 2) - March 2007
- WebDesigner Magazine (Italy) (Issue 10) - April 2005
- WebDesigner Magazine (International) (Issue 96) - August 2004
Sounds a bit like what I may have become if I had stuck with the internet thing when I was at uni.. (only a bit less successful than what I would have been - of course!). He’s 29 and he has a son - How’s that for coincidence.
