I’ve skimmed through a few articles in recent weeks of a stupid music video that has everyone stumped because it rose to become the most viewed youtube video of all time - even beating the evolution of dancing guy . Ich habe entrahmter durch einige Artikel in den letzten Wochen eine dumme Musik-Video, das alle ratlos, weil sie sich zu den am meisten angesehen YouTube Video aller Zeiten - auch schlagen die Entwicklung der Tanz Guy. I thought nothing of it because I think the dancing guy isn’t worth watching either and wondered why he was the most watched vid. Ich dachte, nichts davon, weil ich denke, die Tanz-Typ ist nicht sehenswert entweder und wunderte sich, warum er die meist beobachteten vid. There’s also other mysterious vids - like magibon, the girl who just stares at the camera but gets a million views (seriously…wtf?!). Es gibt auch andere geheimnisvolle vids - wie magibon, das Mädchen, nur starrt in die Kamera, sondern erhält eine Million mal angesehen (schwer ... wtf?!). So as you can see, most viewed does not mean most entertaining or best vid. So wie Sie sehen können, am meisten angesehen bedeutet nicht, dass die meisten oder am besten unterhaltsamen vid.
What’s really taken my attention though is that a few days ago though, Clarus Bartel (the guy who uploaded the video), has pulled it down citing Was ist wirklich meine Aufmerksamkeit ist aber, dass vor ein paar Tagen jedoch, Clarus Bartel (der Mann, der das Video hochgeladen), gezogen hat es zitiert
“I was fed up [with the abuse and accusations of statistical manipulation], I am not interested in the first place if this is the price I have to pay.” "Ich war satt, [mit dem Missbrauch und Vorwürfe der statistischen Manipulation], ich interessiere mich nicht für den ersten Platz, wenn dies der Preis ich dafür bezahlen."
It’s such a shame because it was a part of internet history ( Luckily, some resourceful people have put it back up here , here , and here ). What it shows is that too many people get affected by what gets said online (hence all the uproar about cyber bullying). There’s always going to be people online who don’t like you, you just have to learn to filter it out and get on with what you are doing. What I think Bartel should have done was just to leave all the commenting there and leave it to the youtube administrators to moderate the comments ( I wonder if he could have requested for commenting to be closed off!). Was ich denke, Bartel sollte getan haben war nur, um alle die es zu kommentieren, und lassen Sie ihn auf die YouTube-Administratoren bis mäßig die Kommentare (Ich frage mich, ob er verlangt, für zu kommentieren geschlossen!). My personal theory of why his vid became so popular was that he started off by using some highly searched for tags like ipod, sex, girls, hot, obama (whatever). Meine persönliche Theorie, warum seine vid wurde so populär war, dass er begann mit einigen sehr suchten nach Tags wie iPod, sex, girls, hot, Obama (was auch immer). I know because one of my friends has a video and he changes his tag to some closely related keywords and bam he has a few thousand views overnight. Weil ich wissen, einer meiner Freunde hat ein Video, und er ändert seine Tag bis zu einem gewissen eng verwandten Keywords und er hat uns ein paar tausend mal angesehen Übernachtung. The key though was the next step where this hit the bloggersphere and became viral. Die wichtigsten aber war der nächste Schritt, wenn dies auf den bloggersphere und wurde virale. As blog after blog chases this story, more and more people around the world - hence all the legit IPs - hit the vid. Wie Blog Blog Lauflichter nach dieser Geschichte, mehr und mehr Menschen auf der ganzen Welt - damit alle legit IP - klicken Sie auf den vid. Finally, it reaches mainstream print media and bam, there’s no stopping it. Schließlich erreicht er Mainstream-Printmedien und BAM, gibt es kein Halten mehr ist. Again, this proves the power of the collective blogging community - we have the power to control rankings and move elections! Auch dies beweist die Macht des kollektiven Blogging-Community - wir haben die Macht, Kontrolle und Ranking bewegen Wahlen! Well that’s my theory anyway… then again there could be the other one where the Russian bot net mafia was just randomly testing out their tools and accidentally took this one too far. Nun, das ist meine Theorie jedenfalls dann wieder ... könnte es die anderen, wo die russische Mafia bot net war nur zufällig getestet, ihre Werkzeuge und zufällig hat dieses zu weit.
