Jerry donates $96 million to Stanford University

No that’s not me. This Jerry just donated $96 million this week to Stanford Uni where he and David Filo got their undergrad degrees. His name is Jerry Chih-Yuan Yang (楊致遠). He’s the co-founder of Yahoo and the 317th ranked richest person in the world.

It’s funny how the biggest internet start ups have been ‘co’-founded. And not only that, have you noticed how almost always, there’s one Asian guy? Take Steve Chen from YouTube for example. I’m surprised Google wasn’t co-founded by an Asian guy. Looks like all I need is a Caucasian for a co-founder…
