The great thing about sites like ReviewMe is that you get to come across a great marketplace of interesting websites. Every advertiser on ReviewMe is naturally trying to make money so it’s perfect for me to have a peek and see how they’re doing it. One site that I came across yesterday was ZacJohnson.com. Hmmm.. a blog that uses the guys full name for a domain and it’s about making money online. Must be a wannabe knock off trying to pretend to be John Chow. I had a quick squiz around anyway just to see. Sure enough, there were more than a few mentions of John Chow, and I think John’s success might even be the reason why he started his blog. Well, what started off as a quick squiz turned into a two hour end-to-end reading session of his whole site.
First I read that he won a plasma tv, and then a PS3. Bitch! The clincher that really got me interested, though, was reading the Revenue Magazine article. Five who Thrive. In this article, it claims Zac’s making between $200,000 to $300,000 a year - and that was in 2004! Fark! You can see why I spent a couple of hours trawling through his site after reading this. Luckily for me, he’s site is spanking new and it didn’t take me long to get my name on the top of his commentators list :)
You can tell from Zac’s photo that he must be an all round nice guy. He dresses up as Spiderman for his local Church, plays basketball, has a dip in the sharemarket, and just happens to want to share his love of affiliate marketing with everyone. This guy really does have a whole heap of experience to share around.
It’s rare that people like Zac openly blog about how they make their money but I’m sure glad he does. The site is loaded with good meaty content with a sprinkling of personal entries for good measure. I think that if he can keep knocking up quality posts, maintain his down-to-earth approach, and reveal more of himself to his readers, Zac can give John a run for his money.
What I’d like to see more of from Zac would be …
- Zac the person (how bout ‘a day in the life of a super affiliate’ type post like this ripper post from John
- More talk about his network of websites, how he built each one, what worked and what didn’t
I think this would be a more appropriate logo for Zac ‘Super Affiliate’ Johnson:

Make Money with Super Affiliate Zac Johnson
Man, all this reading about Zac’s riches is getting me motivated again on Jerry’s next grand idea! As you can see from the more regular blog posts, I’ve settled into my new house in the burbs, the bubs doing super, and I’ve got myself a broadband connection. All the pieces are in place for some super duper brainstorming activity! :D
