MySpace growing by two million users a week!

A bit over a year ago, ozzie king pin, Rupert Murdoch bought a little website named MySpace.com through his conglomerate of a company, News Ltd. Since then, there’s been a huge buzz around the internet about where MySpace is headed. I’ve obviously checked it out myself and have even signed up to see what all the fuss was about. I was utterly disappointed and have no idea why News would have bought such a shyte of a social-networking site. Worst of all, it is so painfully slow that it often times out on me.

Some have said it’ll die soon and be taken over by the next big thing from Google, Yahoo, or Microsoft. Yesterday, though, good ol’ Ruppie addressed the shareholders in a meeting in Adelaide and proclaimed that since taking over MySpace, it has grown from 25 million users to 130 million across the world - and continuing to grow at a current rate of about two million a week! Two million a week! eek! No wonder it’s so slow :p Fix up the technology, network, and server issues Rupert before it all comes down in a big pile of dog heap!
