New Wordpress Theme: Cutlines

I’ve grown tired of the old bland Newsportal theme and as you can see, I’m experimenting with Cutlines. It’s one of the featured themes on Wordpress.com so it should be nice and stable.

So far it’s looking good (for me anyway). I think it gives a more personal blog feel than the old theme which is more the impression I want visitors to perceive. It’s easy to edit and comes with a great random header image functionality. You can bet I will be adding more header pics as a form of motivation when I view my own blog. Of course, feel free to use that Lamborghini / Ferrari / BMW / Mercedes to motivate you too! :)

Hint: One thing I’ve noticed whilst doing all this is that in Wordpress v1.1.2 the comments_template() is getting the comments.php file from the Default template folder and not the current one in use. I’ve had to overwrite the default comments.php with the Cutlines one to make the formatting work.
