It’s only been 2 days and already the Finance Loans website has had made $1 in adsense ads. That’s all good and dandy but none of it has been from search engine traffic. It has all come from links from forums and comments that I leave on other people’s blogs. This is unsustainable because it is directly related to the amount of time I spend commenting on these other sites. What I’m waiting for is Google to place the site in the top 10 for a particular keyword. Me not having chosen a target keyword hasn’t aided this cause at all but hey, it’s only just been spidered and off the Google sandbox today.
I use the google keyword tool to pick my targets. According to Google, car loans and credit loan are the two most popular search phrases with the word ‘loan’ in. Car Finance and Student Finance are two most popular with the word ‘finance’. So… that’s that from today onwards, I shall anchor my inbound text links with Car Loan. When it starts getting some results, I’ll branch off into other types loans ;)
